At least 15 people out of 134 tested positive for Covid-19 in the 24 hours before 8:00am on Thursday, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
Some eight cases were reported from Dhaka Division, five from Chattogram Division, and two from Mymensingh Division, it said.
During the period from 8:00am on wednesday to 8:00am on Thursday, 18 Covid-19 patients recovered.
With the new infections, the total number of cases has risen to 2,051,785, while the total number of deaths stands at 29,500.
